Before your hire
Delivery and collection
Our own team delivers, sets up and collects your units. Here is what we need from you, and what to expect on the day.
What we need from you
Send us a what3words
what3words gives us the exact 3-metre square where you want the units, so there is no guessing on the day. A pin or a clear description works too.
Clear, level access
Firm, level ground and a clear route for our vehicle: no low branches, narrow gates, overhead wires or parked cars in the way. Tell us about any soft ground or slopes when you book.
Ask for a call if you want one
We only call ahead if you ask for it when you book. Give us a number that will have signal at the site.
Nobody needs to be there
We can deliver and collect without anyone on site. If no one is there, the position we use is the one you gave us, and it is your responsibility.
On delivery day
- Delivery times are estimates. We cannot be responsible for delays from traffic, road closures, accidents or weather.
- We wait up to 15 minutes for portable toilets and 30 minutes for luxury toilet trailers. After that, waiting time is £75 plus VAT per hour or part of an hour.
- If the site is not ready or access is blocked, we may not be able to deliver, and a failed delivery is charged.
- If there is no phone signal at the site and we cannot reach you, that is the customer's responsibility.
Moving units and collection
- Please do not move the units yourself. If you need them moved after delivery, we can come back, but the visit is charged to cover diesel and labour. We will tell you the cost first.
- On collection day, the units must be reachable with access no worse than at delivery.
- If we cannot collect because of the site, a failed collection is charged and the hire continues until we can.
Questions
Do I need to be there for the delivery?
No. If nobody is on site we place the units at the spot you gave us, ideally a what3words location. If nobody is there to show us, the final position is your responsibility, so please make the spot clear when you book.
Will you call before you arrive?
Yes, if you ask for a call when you book and give us a number. If there is no phone signal at the site, we may not be able to reach you, and that is the customer's responsibility.
How long will the driver wait?
Up to 15 minutes for portable toilets and 30 minutes for luxury toilet trailers. After that, waiting time is charged at £75 plus VAT per hour or part of an hour.
Can you move the units once they are in place?
Yes, but a return visit to move them is charged to cover diesel and labour. We will tell you the cost before we come out. Please do not move the units yourself.
What if you are late?
Delivery and collection times are estimates. We plan for the roads, but we cannot be responsible for delays caused by traffic, road closures, accidents, weather or anything else outside our control.
Delivery and collection are covered in full in section 5 of our terms and conditions.
